Enter BrickYard, which is just beside Lil Hobby Center in Glorietta. this is the best place to build and race your tiy cars. BrickYard has two mini-4WD tracks for beginners and advanced racers. In these four walls, hobbyists young and old tap into their creativity and ingenuity as they build and customize their mini-4WDs and test them on the tracks.

Ferdie Kahn, owner and proprietor of the BrickYard, encourages that parents let their kids build the kits themselves. The store has basic mini-4WD models that kids can easily build on their own. They also sell accessories and extra parts if they ever want to upgrade their cars.

“Building your own car is part of the Mini4WD experience,” he said. “While the staff and most of the members of the BrickYard community are happy to help, there is a lot of fun to be had in building and upgrading your own car by yourself. It gives a satisfying sense of accomplishment and confidence,” Kahn continued.

At BrickYard, everyone is willing to help each other build and improve their mini-4WDs. “Everyone, regardless of age or gender, is definitely welcome here to build, play, and race,” Mr. Kahn said. “We want the hobby and the community to flourish. It’s the reason why we don’t charge a track fee,” he continued.

Building your own Tamiya cars is more than just a hobby. This is an educational experience for the young and old alike and can provide bonding moments between father and son or father and daughter ever.
